Just a warning... don't try to put this on the endometriosis community, I already tried, and Jeanne and I (mostly Jeanne) got attacked for it. So yah...
Plus... someone from the comm went to Jeanne's blog, and left a comment about the petition being stupid (i think that's how she put it) and a lot of other crap.

That's rediculous....how can a petition be STUPID if it raises awareness for Ednometriosis....a disease that many women suffer in SILENTLY and Most people can't even spell, pronounce or know what it is? UGH....

Lets buy a domain and start an endo blog that lots of women like us can contribute to. I like your idea of a personal blog...but many of us on one blog would bring even more awareness.

That's really obnoxious that they denied that...I didn't try to post on the community (hadn't had time to go there in a while) but that's just plain stupid...we should be allowed to post that if we want. Are there rules regarding what we can and can't post?

Ugh...I hate stupid people.

because Jeanne puts a certain .... emphasis I suppose (I'm more than half asleep and feeling dead right about now, so I hope that is what I'm looking for wordwise) ... on the fact that surgery is the only *true* way to diagnose endo. And the reasoning behind that being important. Someone apparently said it was bad because not everyone can afford surgery, and the only people who are going to sign that are people who can afford surgery. I'm just like... yah.... right..........
It wasn't denied... I posted it in the comments of an entry about the DWTS girls with endo... and we both got attacked about it, as I said, mostly Jeanne.

well....sadly it is the only way for a doctor to give a proper diagnosis....sure they can give a pretty educated guess with family history, health history and how a person responds to treatments like BC.....but in order to SEE the endo...sadly a lap (with a doctor that can recognize the endo) is the only way so far.

Some people really have issues about things that don't need to make issues about things. blah...
