So, apparently, one of the people who lives in my apartment complex murdered her husband. Or, more specifically, her boyfriend murdered her husband. They desposed of the body. Although I never knew this women, its kinda weird to think that one of my neighbors is a murderer. FYI: they murder didn't occur her; it occured at the victim's workplace. ( Read more... )

So, if you want to lose weight, train for a triathlon.

Seriously.

In the eleven days I've now been training, I've lost 8 pounds. Lynn has lost 7. Even Alex, who is trying to gain muscle weight--and is therefore on a special weight gain diet/exercise routine--was upset to discover he'd lost 2 pounds.

That's what 2-a-days do to ya, I guess.

So, last week I woke up and decided I wanted to do a triathlon. So I went online and found a spring triathlon in 3 months. The distances are 0.35 mi swim, 13.5 mi bike, and 3.1 mi run. Not too bad, I thought ( Read more... )
