I'm all teared up now. *snuffles*
I really liked Oolong. I'm not a big lizard fan, but I liked Oolong. He was so awesome, the way he pooped neon green on annoying anime kids.
I remember driving to Atlanta with him, and getting to hold him. Such an awesome lizard to put up with all that. I don't think most would.

It really makes me feel better to hear, though, that he was a 'happy' color.
He had a really wonderful home with you guys. Whoever turned him out to the world of jungle cats didn't know what they were missing out on.

I am so sorry for your loss.. The way in which you care for your many animals blows me away. You hear so often on the news and such how awful some people are to their animals, it is very refreshing to hear how well this little guy was taken care of, regardless of his special needs. I think you would be a wonderful vet or vet tech, have you ever thought of doing that before??... I have big dreams for opening a no kill private animal shelter once I get back to Florida, you would deffinately be someone I would want to be in contact with if I had any questions.

What a wonderful pet parent you are Alice :)

I've thought about it... but I'm really not that good with bodily fluids & stuff. I mean, I do what needs doing for our critters, but I can't imagine dealing with that stuff in massive quantities on a daily basis.

Besides, can you imagine how many pets I'd end up with if I worked in a vet's office? The herp vet alone has tried to pawn off a kitten & a beardie on me, and that was just with me popping in every few months. o_O

Awesome! Sad that the world needs so many animal rescues, ennit? I'd be more than happy to answer any questions anybody might have about pets... if I don't know the answer, I should be able to either find it, or find someone who knows. ^_^
