Feedback much appreciated!
This message is a call for help!
But actually, it's not for me; it's for my mum.
You see, my mother (the awesome being that she is) has been invited for an exposition in Amsterdam to show her art. Which, of course, only increases her awesomeness.
However, she now faces a dilemma: what to show? She wants to make another print or two of her recent work on a large canvas to hang on the walls, but she's still contemplating which one to pick. Naturally she asked me for feedback and of course I extensively gave my input. After all, I have an opinion about everything, right? Well, wrong.
You see, very recently my mother's work took an abstract-direction and I have absolutely no feeling for that whatsoever. I cannot say if I like it or not or if it's good. I'm able to identify the colour of it, but that's pretty much it. In other words: I have as much an opinion about it as I do about cars.
And that is where the call for help comes in. My mum (and let's face it, me as well) would love to hear your opinion. Just go to her website and look at the 2008 and 2007 galleries. You don't need to write entire essays, just say what you like and don't like. That already can be a wealth of information. And really, spending a few minutes to make somebody else's life happier is worth the trouble in itself, is it not?
