Now I wish the Nijmegen Company was there when we crossed it, just so that I could hear Englishmen trying to pronounce it.

Visit Whitechappel! There's a Jack the Ripper walk you can take there. It's weird, though very interesting. And they point out the stuff from the 19th century still around there.
