CHOCOLATE FROGS AND ZOMBIES (HARRY POTTER, SIRIUS + REMUS, GEN, PG)

Summary: What would you do for a Chocolate Frog?

Remus wanted to spit and maybe rinse out his mouth with fire-whiskey. Unfortunately, his present form didn't allow him to do either of those things. So he settled for drinking as much of the icy lake water as he could stomach.
It didn't wipe out as much of the taste as he would have liked. Rotten flesh and decomposing innards.
Disgusting. Sirius would seriously owe him for this.
After one last sniff to make sure that the zombie wouldn't be getting up again, Remus picked his pack up in his mouth and headed deeper into the Forbidden Forest. He met a black dog in front of the cave.
The annoying mutt nipped at him trying to steal the bag away. Remus didn't let him. He could just suffer. He didn't deserve a treat.
Sirius whimpered giving his best puppy-dog eyes. Remus turned up his nose and headed into the cave.
Tossing the pack down in a corner, he curled up on top of it and hid his muzzle under his tail.

When he woke up he had a crick in his neck from sleeping on top of the pack.
"Feeling better?"Sirius asked from where he was stirring a pot of something on top of a green fire.
"Shut up. I can't believe you convinced me to go down to the Hogsmead just because you wanted chocolate frogs."
"Oh come on, Moony, it's not that bad."
"You're not the one who had to bite a zombie to get away."
Sirius stuck out his tongue and crossed his eyes in an exaggerated disgust.
"Exactly. Which is why you aren't' getting any of the chocolate."
"Hey! That's not fair. You wanted chocolate just as much as I did. It's not like I'm the only reason you went."
Remus stood up and went over to the fire stealing the ladle from Sirius. "No but you are the reason I went alone."
"What? Zombie's are freaky. Give me that."
Remus pulled the label out of Sirius' reach. "Not a chance. Knowing you, you'll put itching powder in it so that you can steal the chocolate."
"Do you really think I'd use such a cheap trick? I'm insulted!" Sirius hid the can of Zonko's itching powder behind his back.
"Sure you are."
