And yes, is pretty cool, not getting square set now, getting a circle one from Argos thats a solid teal colour that actually looks nice (mum objected to black, and I objected to white and 'biscuit') though am going back to Wilkinsons to get a single square bowl to be 'my' bowl that no one else can use and will live in my room with my special glasses (which isn't *overly* possessive, my room is where my special glasses/mugs live already). Okay now I feel old and boring :D
I saw a pestal and mortar in wilkinsons. I wanted it. mum talked me out of the £6 purchase and bought a practical set of 3 plain casserole dishes with said £6 instead - hows that for oldness lol?

Plates and stuff are a good investment, they last for years. Isn't it kinda exciting, buying stuff for your own independece?!
