Like fic Friday! But with less fic. And less Friday.

So! Hilarity. I was going to post fic tonight, but nothing was working and I decided to be proactive and try to fix my methods instead of leaving to read porn, so I got all,

"I will do plot outlines!"

because I usually don't; I just ramble on for a couple of run on paragraphs, or, more commonly, make an orderless list of kinks events I want to ( Read more... )

writing process, fic friday not really, outlines, writer lawl, hickeys galore

Oh, I love your plot outlines so much! Especially that you keep wanting to include fight scenes - this was awesome. Heh, I have never done a plot outline in my life - I just start writing and then at some point go: WAIT WAIT THERE'S NO PLOT OH CRAP and then panic a bit. So...that rarely works out well. :) But good luck with yours! :D

Hahahah, me and fight scenes. GREETINGS CITIZENS, I COME FROM COMIC BOOK LAND. I actually think part of what stops me in XMFC is that while Charles is terribly powerful, I just can't picture him outright slugging Erik very effectively*, and apparently I don't really want to write ~powers~ as much as I want to write, idk, dudes punching each other.

I maintain that Charles would win the all out war between them in terms of mutation vs mutation, if he was willing to be aggressive. Iffff.

This comment has nothing to do with the one you kindly left me! I don't know! Hello, I like you quite a bit. /clings

Hee, I think I secretly come from comic book land too, and keep expecting everyone to develop superpowers, and am most disappointed when they fail to do so!

Ha, yes, I can't imagine Charles punching very well, just sort of flailing ineffectively instead and then saying: "Oh! I'm terribly sorry!" if he actually managed to land a punch. And yeah, he would be one hell of a threat, mutation wise, if he wasn't so, well, good. Not wanting to use his powers to hurt people... I do like Charles a lot.

I love your randomly inspired comments! And you! *clings right back*

I agree! In that order, though--'Murder and Dogs' does not quite have the same ring to it, somehow.
