So I watched 21 Jump Street and it was hilarious, but also the slashiest film I have seen in a long time. I doubt there will be a fandom--I doubt a lot of slashers want to picture Jonah Hill sucking face with Channing Tatum, but, but...I DO, OKAY, I SO DO.

Look at what cute little cops they are! And they're pretending to be BROTHERS. In HIGH Read more... )

THIS EXCITES ME. I don't know. I'd say "I really need to stop being into things that I am single handedly trying to forge fandoms for," but I feel like I kind of squandered the XMFC rush.

BUT 21 JUMP STREET IS SUPER CUTE. And there's a fantastic cameo that made our entire packed audience CHEER in unison.

I haven't seen John Carter yet! I actually really like the book, so I've been hemming and hawing over the movie.

Oh, I'm actually stoked for Hunger Games, by the way. I ended up reading it and loving it and I'm like, YESSS! A TRENDING BOOK I DON'T HATE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER.

And John Carter is fantastic, fun and has a lot of charm; its an old school adventure film, and its gorgeous to boot; youll love it (not worth seeing in 3d, though).

Also: Lynn Collins as Dejah Thoris in "John Carter" is fantastic; gorgeous, sexy yet strong willed, smart and badass all around; pretty much a female heroine girls today should look up to, instead of waif vampire loving vapid teens.
