AHAHAHA "the gentlest thing I have ever read this year" is basically right and this is totally going to be one of those times when the opening section puts off, like, 90% of the potential audience by being in a misleading tone but WHATEVER, YOU LIKED IT, and I gave myself a boner while writing, my work here is done.

This was amazing! I've never seen a kink woven so well into a universe; everything about it fit perfectly. You grasped both characters so expertly, and the dialogue was really excellent.

Thank you! I felt that with these two, this particular kink should be a very involved/powerful thing instead of something extraneous that's tacked on, so I tried to get that across and keep everyone in their own voice. So glad you liked it!

Pretty damn good, you have a knack for kink, i must say; and the ""Words cannot express how much I do not want to know about you and Effie" line made me snort loudly and choke on a few laufghs

OH I LOVE IT. This is just wonderful! I love the language, and how you have captured the one of the book PERFECTLY, and the characters, oh so much - especially Katniss - just, wow. You have that prickly thing, and the emotional avoidance, and how she realises how bad she is at other people's emotions and dealing with them and helping people when the threat isn't something she can just shoot down - I really love what you've done here. And the baking - love that too. :) You have just captured Peeta perfectly too - the patience, how willing he is to wait for her, endlessly, forever if necessary. (Love that he was waiting for "Something worth mentioning to you," for eleven years - love that whole conversation - especially that she finally thinks to ask, that she is slowly getting a bit better at that
