What's new, party people?

Moved to a new crib in July. Duplex with a garage, fenced yard, new paint and carpet, and 3x the space of the old place. And 100x the centipedes, but who's counting their bodiesI've been trying to stay away from LJ because I'm depressed. I don't like coming here and whining without having anything funny to post. But it's ( Read more... )

I am so sorry you are so miserable! I wish there was something that could be done. It's not enough to just tell you to be strong, but you do have my respect. You've been dealt a bad hand, but you still have your great sense of humor. I truly hope you feel better soon.

I've recently been diagnosed with gastritis, and though I know it's nothing compared to what you've been going through, I haven't been able to eat much more than saltines and have dropped 15 pounds in weight rather quickly. So, I'm going to sit here and drool over your photos a little, if you don't mind... I'm been making similar lists of what I'm going to eat once I can again, though some sweet, sweet curry is at the top of my list.

I hope you can at least find something to distract yourself with. If you enjoy reading, I recommend A Song of Ice and Fire series. It got me through my surgery recovery last year...could have been the pain killers, but I thought they were fantastic.

I'm really hoping things will change for the better for you soon. Till then, take care of

Thank you for the kind words! I'm sorry you've been feeling bad too. :( I'll definitely look into the A Song of Ice and Fire series (when I was in the hospital the people who came to check my blood pressure and stuff laughed because I had this huge stack of books. Pfft, don't make fun!). Take care of yourself too! *hugs*

=( I don't know what to say. So I'll talk about TV shows instead. Have you been watching Fringe?! It's crazy. It has sucked me in, but I haven't seen the 1st season yet or the beginning of the 2nd (I think), but I've seen all of season 3 and it's pretty good.

*looks at the food pictures again* What can you eat? Cardboard? I heard that doesn't have a lot of nutritional value....

I'm always down with talking about TV! Fringe has been crazy this season, omg. I want Olivia home and safe! ;-; And I want Charlie to come back with her too. FBI BFFs! But I seriously want Fauxlivia to get away from Peter. >:/ You've gotta watch the first two seasons! They're kind of slower, but they're good too (and Walter's Walterisms are always too funny). I get it at http://eztv.it/shows/101/fringe/ (I get all my TV from there really, since I have the crappy $10 cable and need to get my Merlin, True Blood, and Walking Dead fixes).

I can eat any food really, just have to take Percocet 30 minutes before. :) But I get easily nauseated and lose my appetite, so I barely eat. I sent in an application to Johnson & Johnson's patient assistance program last week though, so hopefully I'll hear back and they'll hook me up with a year's supply of Remicade. XD It'd be like winning the medicine lottery, lol.
