I'm in a crappy, negative mood that I just can't snap out of today. Can't think of a good reason why - maybe it's just the consistently cloudy weather? I do find it a lot harder to get started when there's no sun in the morning (or the rest of the day for that matter). SD is famous for its "May Gray" and "June Gloom," so I guess I better get ( Read more... )

I know! That's the weird thing - I have all this stuff that I should be excited about and looking forward to, but I can't break out of the negative/gloomy thoughts today. What gives? As I'm typing this, though, the sun is peeking out so maybe that's a sign!

No drugs at the moment - maybe that's the prob. I've tried a ton of them, but drugs and I don't mix too well. I'm such a sensitive, delicate flower that they all give me side-effects that outweigh the benefits. Dang.

...that shoes strung up like that is a sign that drugs are sold nearby? I just found that out back in October and was like "NO WAY! that's a sign a bully is near by, attacking and taunting kids walking home from school and stealing their shoes". Then I was sent this in an email ( ... )

That's weird. This photo was at 31st and Ivy, and there were 3 other shoes nearby, too. It's a pretty wide open place, so I wouldn't know where you'd go to get your drugs. Maybe in San Diego it just means "some people were bored/drunk and threw old shoes over a telephone wire."
