God, it's huge. The first time we went inside we totally got lost. I still get lost a little, going from room to room upstairs.

Nice! It looks like it could be in my neighborhood. The kitchen layout is similar (I have an island in the middle and the counter doesn't wrap around) and everything else looks pretty similar. I like the stairs!

Actually, it's not an island--it wraps around with the counter where the sink is. I love islands, though, and we almost took a place that had one.

Oh yeah, I was mentioning how mine is different. I love the island. When we moved in I was totally geeking out about the fact that it has drawers and cabinet space AND an electric outlet. I moved in here from a house with a tiny kitchen that was like 40 years old. I think there may have been two outlets in there, other than the one that was set aside for the fridge, and barely any counter space at all. One of the first things I did when we moved in was buy a big kitchenaid mixer, since I had counter space to keep it out and outlets to plug it in!

I'm totally going to have room for one here, but not the funds. This move is costing a hell of a lot, and rent is going to be $400 more at this new place. Gah! I've been wanting one for years.

Holy smokes, six bedrooms?? You should be like Candy Spelling and have a room dedicated entirely to wrapping paper and one for a doll collection.
