I just got back from day one of our Rave Ogilvie recording sessions. Strange feeling sitting in the studio with him, thinking, "I wonder how we stack up to Skinny Puppy or Nine Inch Nails? Are we more prima donna, or less?"

Last night we got word that our new producer has set a 6-week time-frame to go into the studio to begin recording new material with us. Why is that exciting? Because this guy is Nine Inch Nails producer, and carried Skinny Puppy through their entire careers. This DVD was easily the best 24 bucks I've ever dropped. A Victoria kid goes the respectable route and masters in Anthropology. Still a 'banger at heart, he decides that there were really no honest examples of cinema that treat "heavy metal" with respect. All prior examples are satires or 'mockumentaries'.
