I was waiting for your review of Hannibal before I dared to watch it. OMG I'M SO HAPPY.

I AM SO GLAD IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

AND LARRY FISHBURNE! I've never been a mondo fan of his, but he was great in this! THAT BATHROOM SCENE.

♥ Love Ms. Hudson. I'm hoping she's gonna become a regular character, becasue I loved her.

Hannibal was just fascinating. I had no idea Bryan Fuller was working on this, but it all makes sense now. Nobody creates memorable visuals like him. Watching it instead of Elementary was a good decision. It was just as good the next day.

If Ms. Hudson doesn't show up on the regular, I am going to throw a riot.

But this is ELEMENTARY and they've yet to disappoint me in the SLIGHTEST, so I have faith. :D :D :D :D

One reviewer called Hannibal "the most beautiful thing currently on TV" and I have to agree whole-heartedly. Stupid excited for the next episode!

Agreed 100% with everything you say per Doctor Who. I keep watching in hopes I'll fall in love the way I did with Tennant and RTD. But the heart is gone. The show is entirely plot-driven now and forsakes the subtleties of character-building. I am going to die of want when I see Ten back on the 50th anniversary episode and know that we can't keep him. :( Although Moffatt might ruin Ten even worse than the end of season four did...

STAY STRONG.

Moffat has said in a couple interviews recently that he feels he's "near the end" of his tenure as headrunner, so I have hope that after the special and s8 he'll step down and let someone else take the reins -- and here's hoping that new writer will help infuse heart and soul back into the show, and make the characters worth loving whole-heartedly again.

This show, after all, is about change. And there were rough patches in Classic!Who's history, so I just hope we can weather this current downturn until the next upswing.

I'm sad that your love for Who has waned. Namely because mine is on the same path.

I need to watch Hannibal yet but I am loving everything I've seen/read/heard so far.

Imma just gonna direct you to the comment I made above to Julie's comment and second the STAY STRONG! credo.

*copypasta's the HANG IN THERE! kitty poster*

It. Is. So. GOOD. Omg, Jorge, you SHAN'T BE LEFT WANTING. I mean, there wasn't a ton of solid plot or character stuff beyond Will, but then the show's setting up some really interesting stuff and the visuals more than make up for that. :D

I missed Hannibal. I think I'll just marathon it after it gets inevitably canceled. (Seriously, why the fuck is it on NBC instead of, like, HBO?)
