So, for various reasons, my store has now lost 2.5 Pharmacy Technicians.

Is anyone interested in working out here in Oregon for a month or two?

2.5? Someone wasnt that good to be considered a whole? ORRR.... Someone still thinking about leaving? You should really tell them the reason. I wouldnt walk into a situation I knew 2.5 had just left without knowing why.

Sorry, the 0.5 worker is a part time employee, he's leaving because otherwise he would be fired by the store manager. This guy called in sick for literally 1/4 - 1/3 of his shifts, we finally asked for a doctor's last week. I understand that that was the end ( ... )

Oh my, sorry I asked? Good Luck with all that! Where is your pharmacy (ex. health center, walgreens, free standing)?

No, that's okay. We're a freestanding Walgreens without a drive-thru(which is awesome).

2.5 technicians? eek! i mourn that poor tech that lost half their tech skillz most. mark, while it would so rock high hell to work with you and to see you again, i'm hoping to finish up my math deficiency this semester so i can really really graduate. that, and well, oregon is just tooooo far away for more than a brief visit. i'd miss everyone here to much to move there. sorry man, though it meens a lot that you thought of giving me the offer.
good luck on finding some techs. i say you just hook up the .5 tech with some cybernetic implants and he will be as good as new...or get some flying helper monkeys. that always does the trick.

Yeah, wing over some nanoprobes and we'll "convince" that tech to stay :)

I'm glad you've made it to the end with the Math, don't stop now!

Next time I lose someone out here though, I could be persuaded to provide airfare and housing if you would like to work for us for a month or two. The Oregon Tech license isn't that expensive(~$35, WAG would reimburse you). http://www.oregon.gov/Pharmacy/Licensing.shtml#PHARMACY_TECHNICIANS
