What they found is that a fuse holder on the main board seems to loosen up, so it won't make contact and then acts as if the fuse had blown. This fuse is for the APU engine's cooling fan. Humans seem to hate being told what to do, yet love telling others what to do.

So yeah. Got five of six interior panels on the truck changed out, along with two fairings on the passenger's side. Wound up having to just remove the middle one and run without for a while. Also noticed if I want that one piece of trim added to the rear fairing, I'm gonna have to drill some bolt holes. Not yet. That trim needs to be replaced ( Read more... )

USS Ghost needs new interior panels, and the roof glass. Time to call Freightliner, since they're the only ones I know who'll have them.

Is it just my imagination, or did we just go straight from winter to summer? Temps were in the 50s(F), drizzly, just like it always does wintertime in the NW US. 1 week later it's 95F here in Nebraska. Guess we don't get Spring this year?
