Hi dear FList!

1. I think I can finally say that I'm back from my hiatus. YAY! I'm hate that it took so long, longer than I thought, but work was so tiering. I didn't have last monday and tuesday off like was planned and ended up working through from dec 24th till today with just 1 day off (last wednesday). And I'm amazed by how flat the valley seems at the bottom, before the mountains start rising! I had that thought already when I took the Bernina Express through the valley (and over the mountain pass and down into Valposchiavo on the other side).

I wonder whether the river used to be a lot wider in the past, to have created such a wide, flat bottom? I would have expected the valley to be narrower, somehow...

Also ganz so flach ist es schon nicht. Die grossen Flächen in Bild 2 und 3 sind Seen... Die sind auf der anderen Seite von Pontresina/St.Moritz und dort ist das Tal so eng, dass sie nicht mal Platz für eine Zuglinie hatten.

It's nice to be back :D

Only the forth one is my home (you can even see where I work). The others are close by, maybe 10 mins away. I'm very lucky, I know.

Hey

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag! Hoffe du hattest einen schönen Tag.

Die Bilder sind super, muss auch mal wieder in die Alpen. Eigentlich wollten wir vor 2 Wochen gehen, mein Onkel hat da irgendwo eine Ferienwohnung und er hat uns schon vor Ewigkeiten eingeladen. Ist leider was dazwischengekommen, aber ich hoffe es klappt bald.
Ich kann nicht mal sagen ob es bei uns im Schwarzwald noch Schnee hat weil alles neblig ist^^

Hoffe für dich das es bald klappt. Im Winter im Nebel zu leben, muss schon schlimm sein. Hier ist es nie neblig...
