you know, it is easier to enjoy something when you know that you can change it- even if you do not. If this does not work out, i will go...if this does not work out, i am stuck...that could color anything just on it's own

Comfort is not mundane, it is essential to well being- but what we consider comfort changes. there is a definite comfort in knowing that you can leave a situation- losing that is actually a bit of an un-comfort, i would think ( it sure was for me). you are a super dedicated loyal person, if you spent too much time away, you might not be able to come back and fulfill what you feel you must - at least that's one possibility

comfort is a very physical sensation to me: soft pillows, warm blankets, a/c, gas heat, hot water, clean towels, clean surfaces, etc. I go to work everyday in order to maintain the level of comfort I want. I don't want to be less comfortable. On the other hand, I'm not particularly comfy in my own home these days. However, I would feel guilty if I were to give voice and change all he things that bother me - so I guess it is the discomfort of guilt that I choose to avoid. So far.
