I didn't know you all were thinking about moving back to the NW. That's good!

Well, at first Michael said "No! I rains to much, I could never live there" , then somehow we talked about Bend. Since it's between mountains and deserts it doesn't rain nearly as much as it does in the valley. Plus with the addition of Ashton and the responsibility of raising a family (and escaping a crime-ridden big city) we think it would be best for us. We just have to find the jobs! That could mean this year or 5 years from now...but we're looking :)

I'm glad you're thinking about moving, I worry about you guys there.

It's amazing that your brother is okay. That's really scary.

Good luck with the knitting! If hear it's a lot easier if you can find someone to show you how to do it, I tried to learn from a book and made a pathetic lopsided pot holder and gave up.

Wow, that is amazing about your brother! I'm so glad he's okay. Nearly the same thing happened to my brother when he was in middle school--the only reason he was kept overnight in the hospital was because they COULDN'T find anything wrong with him!!!

I cannot WAIT until you move to Bend!!! I wish it was Portland, but Bend is way closer than Baltimore, and it'll give me an excuse to take lots of weekend road trips. You guys will have to get a house big enough for frequent visitors.... :)

Tell me how the knitting goes--something I've always been interested in as well, but never learned.
