I don't remember the first time I heard or watched George Carlin. My dad was always a big fan. In some ways I feel like I grew up with George Carlin. He read his books and subscribed to HBO just so he could see Carlin specials. He even took my brother and I to see him live (when we were older of course). He was an amazing comedian and speaker and

After watching this clip, I realized that I don't know anything about George Carlin... well, I know he had a scratchy voice. This was entertaining, and I think I would like to see more of his stuff.

I think you'd like a lot of his work....he's always very blunt and honest - and many times he speaks truths that people don't like to admit. You should check out this one about language - it's hilarious.....but there was no code yesterday to put it on LJ - so I picked my second favorite clip :)
