Thanks. It's weird, but I never thought that I'd be in a situation where I'd have to decide to press charges against a student. I don't remember learning about that one in my college ED classes. Ha
Yeah, my other students really made me feel better after the incident. They asked me in the office if I wanted to go home for the rest of the day. I turned the offer down, because I felt like the best thing I could do is go back to class and see my good, hard working students. They helped me to remember why it is that I'm really there :)
It's true though, that this could and does happen anywhere, at any school. It's just the particular 'craziness' of this particular student that worries me the most.
Exactly. He is a danger to those even close to him... He needs to be punished and held accountable for all of the heartache he has caused. Hopefully, one day he will accept responsibility for his horrible crimes but that may be wishful thinking... Glad your other students were supportive to you. That rocks!
