I quit smoking again and survived a day dude!

Heya. I have access to campus piracy network '06 and I'd be happy to siphon off a few songs or albums or whatever if you'd like. Mostly because you're actually making music and adding more of the dust (/philip pullman reference) as opposed to rest of us leechers.

(sample albums that I think are awesome and can get you: Sophtware Slump (Grandaddy), Gulag Orkestar (Beirut), Summer in Abaddon (Pinback))

(sample music '' '': Frank Zappa, Hilotrons, Marc Bolan & the T-Rex, Sparklehorse, Smog, The Flaming Lips, The Mountain Goats)

+ one day when you are famous and full of indie cred I can feel slightly smug for having helped once long ago back in the day.

each of those titles and artists really interest me a lot

but in what medium would I be acquiring all of this music? digitally or on cd?
digitally would not be my first choice, I do not have access to a consistant computer. but it should still hapen, somehow.

anecdote: paul hogan (hilotrons)'s daughter, who attends canterbury now, told me to say hi to my sister for her the other day, because the two are childhood friends. imagine!

This would be digital. So you would have to burn them. Sad face?

Imagine indeed! Did you ask her if she dances to science fiction music?

some jeff buckley would really be excellent, and I used to own a sigur ros album, but I lost it many years ago. I really like animal collective, but have only heard the "feels" album, the record they did with vashti bunyan (which I really enjoyed, some of the best music I have heard in a while) and then some miscellaneous tracks. also my father is a big django reinhardt fan, and I should check out some more guitar jazz.

in conclusion, I say yes to everything you suggested. expect a few dollars coming your way for the dex and for the pending cds. thanks a million man, seriously.

expect me sometime this week, say hi yo Keira for meee

love, conor

Heyyy.

I hope your're still alive.

If yes, you should call me / send me an e-mail sometime soon, let me know what's going on with you. You've got things here that you might want and I'm leaving to Montreal again Thursday night.

Also: How're you liking Hypermagic Mountain?
I could burn you something else, but I don't know what you want.

Pee Ess: I get home around 6:40-6:45 now because I'm walking, so. After that is the best time for calling.
