As I sadly discovered a few months ago, my med boo, Dr. Frank left Dr. Wolfe's office, and was ultimately replaced with a new intern. Well, Dr. Fernando is his name and sweetness in ugly suits is his game. He wears ties with miniature seahorses on them and I absolutely adore him. In the mix of everything, turns out my cornea is dried out and  badly scratched. Too much cutting and pasting and pushing and pulling around my face, I pressume. In order to check my email or read up on my beloved PerezHilton, I need the screen magnified to 150% and when I write my essays on Word, I have the font size at 16 and written in bold. Over the years, my mom has basically become my manager, helping me book various doctor's appointments and keeping everything as organized as possible. It's extremely overwhelming, and I don't know what I would do if it were all dumped on my shoulders. I consider myself lucky, in that aspect at least, for sure.

Last night I had a dream that I was throwing words into the freezer.

I pray to God that Hurricane Ike turns out to be a fluke; not because of major flood warnings or disasterous debris, but because I have a very important treatment Wednesday morning, followed by just-as-important Project Runway later that night.
