I just attempted my first bit of realism in many, many years. I'm fairly pleased with the outcome, although I feel a bit dirty due to sketching from an existing photo. In the end, though, that's how I'll learn more about the angles of his face. I still suck at doing

Looks just like Conan! Great job. :D Would love to see him with some color. BTW, I think even professional artists use photos to draw celebrtities and things, so I wouldn't feel too bad about that. I certainly understand the feeling, because I'm always a bit eeeh when I directly redraw a photo, but it is great practice.
