So...fun times as classes are once again beginning. We apparently have new neighbors downstairs who just moved in four days ago, and they've wasted no time in making a great impression. Ah some people's kids.
Sadly, I know just how you feel and not because my neighbors in the same apartment are rude, loud, inconsiderate and smoke constantly right in front of my door, but because I had similar experiences in college as well.
They're kids that are finally out of the roost for the first time ever and feel they can be as wild and as crazy as they want. Add in the coddling by mummy and daddy when they were home and they think that they can either do no wrong or "you need to loosen up maaaan..."
In short allow me to offer a Translation of their behavior; We(I) am too excited and young and reckless and flat out stupid to handle the responsibility of living on my own, so I'm just going to be an idiot and make life hell for those who are.
I'd suggest having a talk with them, but it'd just be a tremendous waste of time. So, keep calling the cops. Report them to the landlord/property manager every time they break something or cause a disruption. Do it every time, over and over and over. Because of their blatant immaturity, they ( ... )
