After lagging behind the whole of the season and basically slipping off LJ because I was so habituated to avoiding spoilers, I finally got caught up with the whole of Supernatural Season 6.
( Not squeeful. )
I wish I didn't agree with this so much. :( I love Sam and Dean, but the showrunners' willful blindness to their race and genderfail (their line seems to be, "But guys, EVERYONE dies on this show" not acknowledging that the white dudes seem to have a 100% higher survival rate over time) is killllling me. I hope it will miraculously improve, but I'm not very hopeful. At least there may be fewer angels!
I knooow :( It makes me so sad, because I want to love the show!
Also, how are you?! *glomps* I have not been reading LJ much, because I got out of the habit while I was behind on the show. I miss my LJ folks, though!
I'm okay! I'm moving next month, which is nerve-wracking, even though it's just up the street. And I'm in the process of quitting my part-time bookstore job, which will give me free evenings I haven't had in YEARS. So upheaval, but progress! How are you??
I also haven't made a substantive LJ post in MONTHS, so you wouldn't know any of that even if you had been reading. :(
Ooh, moving is always nervewracking. Hopefully good, though! And yeay for more free time! I approve!
Things are great with me! I just got a new job that I REALLY wanted - my first proper academic post! It's only two years, but it's exactly where I wanted to be and what I wanted to be doing, so I am majrly happy. :D
Ditto on the lack of substantive posts /0\. It's a mark of how disappointed I was after watching the show that i was actually moved to post something for once!
