NaNoWriMo is almost here again! I'm participating in the madness again this year, so shall be erratically on LJ. The imminence of NaNo reminded me, though, that I have stories still sitting around that I wrote last NaNo. Some of them will probably never see the light of day, but I kind of liked this one, so
parenthetical helped me dust it off and polish it up.
