Went out to dinner tonight. Something I rarely do with people besides my family. My friend, Mel, was in from CA and she wanted me to come see the new house she bought in Mystic and then walk over to a local restaurant. Took the last few days off… the last of my saved vacation days. We went yesterday on our annual trek to get a Christmas tree. Amy, Josh, Alden and I set forth and I drove some of the regular route around the countryside … with a few detours here and there. I've had laryngitis for two days now... what up with that?? I'm not sick ... least as much as I can tell. But, for some reason I have no voice. Well, that's not entirely true. Friday was fun for the most part. We all (sans Franklin and Sue) gathered down at the folks and Aunt B showed up for Thanksgiving Part II to eat all the left-overs. It was good to see her, as usual.
