I am going to Venice!! it is hard to believe that in 3 and half months i will be off this continent for the first time. and there is no bakcing out now. i am nervous and excited all at the same time. i hope it is amazing but like always i am looking for any flaw. i don't understand my obsession with looking for the bad things and it is getting ( Read more... )

First of all, I must let it be known that Venice has NO DOWNSIDE, it's the most beautiful place EVER, and my favourite cities (out of the ones I've been to).

You'll get off the train and walk out of central station RIGHT INTO THE GRAND CANAL. It's fantastically awe-inspiring. Go see St. Marc's cathedral, the inside is PURE golden mosaic, floor to ceiling. Beeeee-autiful!
