I now have a professional presentation on my CV. In all honesty, this was probably the only thing keeping me from a STAR fellowship this last year...a publication would be better, but a presentation is SOMETHING

How big was your audience?

I'm guessing 40-50 people. My advisor told me to expect 20-30, and I think we were both surprised at how many people attended the symposium.
