Signed the rental contract on Thursday; picked up keys to the house on Friday.

I've taken 5 carloads of stuff over to the house so far--but my apartment doesn't look any emptier. Instead, it still seems depressingly cluttered. Phooey.

I still have stuff in my garage that I can't give away. Wish I knew more impoverished grad students. (Am looking forward to the younger generation starting college as a potential old furniture dumping opportunity.)
