New Year's resolutions 2013*

Rather than make New Year's resolutions that I might not keep (e.g. "I want to exercise every day") I thought I might make a series of general statements about who I want to become; that way I can make changes to how I specifically move to a broader goal. So here we go:

Considering how busy you are, you may need to multi-task, like writing and working out at the same time. (That would probably have to be dictation.)

Or you could find a tiny piece of time every week and dedicate it to your resolutions, but you may not have time for every each one each week.

I got an iPhone app to learn Spanish. When I'm working in lab, I get something running then do a lesson while I wait for it to finish.

I could write more during my lunch break instead of playing Angry Birds etc.

Had a relatively low-carb dinner tonight--normal meat serving but lots more veggies. The kids ate lots of rice but I only had a smidgen. It was good and I still feel full. Everyone said it was really yummy. Now to do this for a few more weeks...
