Flood Alert

Today the flood gates of Ukai dam which holds river Tapi have been opened. Surat is expected to be flooded. The place where I stay has water on 2 sides, river Tapi on one and the sea on another. My room is on the ground floor. Have packed all my stuff and got it to the office. People who stay in Surat have left and are moving to higher places. Its

Why the hell dont you pack your bags, tell your boss you cannot stay there till situation improves and leave the place....

Reminds me of some Indian employees of Huawei who chose to stay in China despite SARS becos their manager wanted them to stay on....

Boss, trains and roads are closed. Send me ur chopper. This place has a good helipad and its not yet flooded.
