Yeah, it has its moments. I've been really down on it lately because it's my busy time of year and I've been tied up every weekend with field work, but I should be over the hump in a month or two.

I'm so glad you friended me back--I've been meaning to catch up with you for awhile now! (Us Holly-betaers gotta stick together :P ) Your entries make me nostalgic for Central America--I did an exchange for 6 months in Costa Rica right after high school, and loved every minute. I could use someone to practice my Spanish with, if you're ever up for it--I haven't really spoken it since I got my Bachelor's.

Yeah, me too, especially the mosquito part. Though those were the only bugs they had where I grew up. I think that's why I'm such a wimp when it comes to fieldwork--I grew up in the Northwest, where it's almost never hot and aren't that many noxious animals.

I'll be sitting down with Beyond Truth and Lies tonight, if my eye holds up--can't wait!! I only got as far as the Prologue yesterday, but it's *very* promising so far! :D
