Last year at APE, as in over a year ago, I missed my chance at buying Pictures That Tick by Dave McKean because I didn't realize it was out of print. I figured that $45 was a lot of money and thought I could find it for less. Turns out I couldn't find it for under around $90, and more often it was closer to $115, or even more. This was upsetting. New Diana Wynne Jones book Tuesday! This is exciting. I have to get lots of work done now so that I can not do anything but read when I get the book. This means no Katamari Damacy tonight, but that's okay.

Got Katamari Damacy and DDRMAX today. Now I just need to, you know, find time to play them. Must clean room! And get lots of work done this weekend! (And play games.)

Today I both--get this--bought a PS2 AND got work done. Oh yeah. The PS2 is so tiny and cute. :) I played some Devil May Cry (the first one). The concept of being able to watch DVDs on the TV and not just my laptop's LCD screen is amazing (the lappy screen is a tiny bit bigger, really, but the ability to actually see from an angle and have more ( Read more... )

Facebook is so pointless yet so damn addictive!
(Okay, not exactly pointless, as it did get me back in touch with a friend from a few years ago. But still mostly pointless.)

I gave in and got two months of paid LJ. Five bucks ain't too bad, and I wanted to add icons. So I'll see what all this jazz is about.
