the overwhelming choice!

Broadwater sounds ok? Sleeps 10? I feel bonnie busselton is comparatively rather expensive...

UPDATE: w00t, gave summerset another call and they are free from 3-11, for 1800. the lady was v nice, but she did warn me that we have to be quiet and respectful of their neighbours. i know we are good people, but do we really want that pressure of having to turn down the music early and so on...? we can be loud butts sometimes....

I reckon $1800 for 3-11 is a pretty good-sounding compromise between cost/length of trip! If some of us do end up going to Southbound that's probably a good amount of time. The noise thing is tricky though. My vote would be "if we know we have to keep quiet then I'm sure we'd be fine" but can I trust myself not to start shouting Spanish songs in the backyard in the middle of the morning? I don't know. I'm guessing if they're mentioning it they've had some problems before, but maybe if it got bad enough that the neighbours complained we wouldn't be as bad as that?
I don't think I explained that train of thought very well!

I don't think Marine Terrace is Buss06 because I don't remember them having 2 VCRs! What does "fully landscaped" mean?

hey moriarty, yeah you make a few strong points there. will def be trying marine terrace again!

personally i think my vote will still go to bonnie busselton - because i find the noise restrictions dubious. i know we're not crazy, but spanish singing has been known to occur! then again it's a mixed bag because i prefer summerset especially re the SPA

also, ANOTHER OPTION is to actually book the summerset house from the first. that way if southbound does not end up happening we will stil have a holiday, and if it does then we can just not camp. i'm not sure whether or not i am in favour of this option, but i am just throwing it out there. because if southbound doesn't happen i think i'd be pretty disappointed with the length!

Any word on the Bonnie Busselton bathrooms? Definitely might end up a decision influencing factor!
I'm trying to remember how noisy we were last Buss.... I have a feeling we were? But I can't think of specific things that would have been noisy. Maybe I'm just not remembering because by the times we were noisiest, I was drunk?

I don't know about booking over the Southbound weekend.... are we that sure the line up will be bad? If it's better than last year I will be keen to return, I enjoy the dirty camping times and in general am up for SB as all part of Buss, it's just last year that was particularly unexciting. I'm hoping it was a one-off.... so wouldn't mind keeping the option free. Maybe if SB does fall through and we ended up with the shorter trip option we could make some additional plans, maybe book a different house just for that weekend to get some extra days in?
