The Ben Folds concert was excellent. He played almost every song from the new album, which has really grown on me since, as well as the "fake" versions of most songs from the album--he leaked a fake version of the album online to confuse pirates. So, uh, does St. Louis have black people...?

There was a large volume of black people there, though I will admit there were toooons of crackers in that shot. As Val just said, there were tons of black families there, and most everyone in front of us were black. I'd even go as far to say about 50% of those who showed up were black. It was really cool exactly how diverse the crowd was.

fyi, folks, McCain came to town today and drew 3000 people. Hooray?
