This type of thing is precisely why part of me has lost all interest in keeping up with it anymore.

I think this is my last year, especially if they're gonna continue to do the stadium thing. After getting used to front row in arenas it's just not the same.

Especially since the 'extras' just aren't that exciting. I mean, OOOH! A REMIX ALBUM! *headdesk*

...wtf.

I believe the technical term for that is "motherfucking bullshit." I believe I saw it in a textbook.

Or, to quote an old ex of mine, "Absolute PANTS!"

I don't have much hope that they'll change it, considering pre-sales have already started, but I plan on registering my disgust.

If they really wanted a plan to drive away long-time, hardcore fans by continually disheartening them, this fan club is the perfect scheme.

Can't really afford them right now, either, but ramen noodles here we come. At least I know what country I'll be in - and with the boy being local it's a good shot that I'll be in the Philly area... To my chagrin.

Oh well, at least he's cute and sweet ;-)

Which you could have been at the Norman show. Since they had to put the stage in sideways, the pit was a bit smaller and that made all the difference. We were on the outer rail and it was phenomenal! Now, if they did that as the norm, I'd be all over stadiums. Unlike the horror of Soldier Field.

I saw that it was sideways, but I didn't realise that it made the pit smaller. Did they take out a section of ramp or something?

And, honestly, it's not just the size of the stage - it's also the size of the crowd, as well. The GA crowd was... Not the family it was the last two tours. At Giants Stadium it appeared that half the crowd weren't actually fans, but were just there because it was a hot ticket. The sheer volume of people who were so drunk they could barely walk was RIDICULOUS.

And DC was only marginally better in that regards. Meant a lot more bumping and jostling on the inner back rail than I had when I was up front in between Adam and Bono.

Heard Norman was great from everyone there - great first show for the kids!

Forget the pit...outside rail, DEFINITELY the way to go.

Well, if my pre-sales work (unlike what's being reported this morning), I'll go for it.

Not having much hope for next leg working properly in general, though - just getting a bad vibe right now...
