So I've gotten through the first month of M101. I have 12 goals in progress and I've completed 2, so I'm happy with that...LOL.
In progress
7. Examine skin monthly for new moles since there's a history of skin cancer in my family. I was doing this before M101 since my grandfather, mother and uncle all passed away from melanoma. But M101 gives me additional incentive to keep it up. Plus I went to the dermatologist this month and got a clean bill of health.
8. Start to eat more fruits and vegetables daily. - I've been making a point of at least picking up some bananas every week and eating them. I also have apples at the moment too.
9. Get more fish and seafood in my diet despite the hubby not liking it. - This has been easier than I thought it would be, I'm mainly getting sushi at least once a week for lunch...LOL.
17. Write in my lj at least once a week for six months. - Pretty self explanatory.
28. Get our home office organized and keep it that way. - Got started on this and should have it completed this month.
30. Go out and do something in the local area with the hubby at least once a month (Luray Caverns, Mt. Vernon, etc. ). - We went to Luray Caverns on 10/07.
44. Establish skincare routine and stick to it. - I've developed rosacea in my old age, so it was important to do this to keep the redness under control. So far, so good with it.
49. Eat at least one vegetarian meal per week. - I've been accomplishing this namely through eating vegetable-type soups with no meat. But I want to try other vegetarian recipes...LOL.
56. Try one new-to-me recipe per week. - This goal has been working out well and so far the hubby has liked everything I tried so yay!
63. Cook at least one recipe from my cookbook/recipe card collection once per week (does not have to be a new recipe, just one specifically from my books and cards). - I've been making things I haven't made in ages and trying new things too.
68. Watch all 100 movies from Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments (ones I've seen are crossed out). - I watched "28 Days Later".
98. Make at least one lj post a month on my progress. - Self-explanatory.
Completed
40. Thoroughly clean the downstairs half-bath, including woodwork. - I got this done last week. Since we rarely use this bathroom, it tends to get neglected...lol.
47. Buy and use reusable shopping bags. - I use them every time I go to the supermarket now and I love them...you can fit more stuff in these plus they're good for the environment.

here. I'm also still looking for ideas to complete my list! :)
