I thought that I was going to be able to finally post the itinerary for our UK Trip a week ago, but a last minute change left us scrambling to adapt... however, said enforced change is of the most wonderful kind. When we went to book our tickets for the Harry Read more... )

Curious. I'll be visiting Stonehenge almost exactly 1 month after you do.

It's so funny. I have another friend who is going to be there almost exactly two weeks before me. It's really is a small world sometimes. Have fun!

It is really packed and to be honest, it's more of an ideal kind of thing. It's entirely possible that we may not have time to do everything on there if we run into any kind of delays. But, in a perfect world where we get up early and don't hit any unforeseen snags, that is what we would like to accomplish. I'm not worried about the physical part of it - as you say, we're all in really good shape - but the time management part of it could be a problem. Whatever we get to do will be awesome ( ... )

Unfortunately, Bran is another character who bores me so my sympathy beyond the abstract is limited. It's not his fault. That storyline was always going to be hard to adapt since it wasn't especially riveting in the books and at times downright weird. At times, it gets downright weird. But... did you know he's crippled?? Did you know he has a thing with a three headed crow??? Cause, that's really all they've communicated in two seasons.

Fair enough on Jaime's puffed up sense of crazy... I blame Tywin. Because that's the hardest hard ass to ever come down the pike.

Someone already did it! I told Amy that I didn't think anything could fill the void left by the absence of Dowager's Violet's snark, and here comes Olenna with not only the snark, but the dirty philosophy as well! So much love. X-D

I am so green with jealousy that someone is going to mistake me for a Monsters Inc. character. But M's right, it's a good thing you two are used to long days of walking!

Question about Ni no Kuni - I'd read that the battle system was complicated, and you know me, I'm the kick-down-the-door-and-run-in type. The FFX and KH battle systems suited me great. As much as I am dying to try Ni no Kuni, that's putting me off. So tell me if I'll like it, tolerate it, or hate it.

Like I told M above, the schedule IS tight and we may not get to it all if we run into unforeseen snags, but in a perfect world that is what we would like to fit in. I recall doing days like that every day on the last Europe Tour I took (there was NO DOWN TIME) and we got it done, so we'll see. Everything we do get done will be awesome ( ... )
