*Note: There was a mistake in this entry. In the Bible, God says that they will die from eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. This too is true... many, many people have been killed in the name of good, by saying the other was evil.

While I find it hard to believe that the writer(s)/teller(s) of Genesis understood what was meant by the two trees(though it is possible)... I'm more inclined right now to go with the idea that the Bible, though written by the hands of people, has much that is still divinely inspired.
