One great movie and one disappointment

As I mentioned last time, my movie previews site has been paying dividends. The latest is a movie I'm glad I got to see for free, because I would have paid for it otherwise and that would have been a mistake. I cannot recommend:

I had seen trailers for Now You See Me, and had been looking forward to it, but GAH, is it really a mess? Or is it vaguely worth seeing in a year on cable for free?

I'd watch it for free because there are entertaining aspects to it, for sure. I would not encourage anyone to spend money on it. The trailers had me excited for it, too, so there was also the element of disappointed expectations.

That's too bad. My mom, brother and son were all so excited about Now You See Me. Not that they won't go see it because it is summer and they are all bored but I was hoping it would be good.

I just want to go see Star Trek.
