A simple statement that they FORGOT to mention to me in high school or college...

A nucleus with too many neutrons is unstable and decays into a proton, an electron, and a neutrino.I even asked about that shit 8 years ago and was given some blowoff answer. Grrrrr ( Read more... )

Sorry about not specify "they" in my quote... "they" are just scientists, and they have a way of proving the electron statement using a common-day electron gun from a TV tube.

Sadly, quantum physics has properties called an uncertainty principle and an unpredictable principle that applies to everything (which still leaves room for a god). Einstein didn't buy it. He's quoted as saying, "God doesn't play dice with the universe," and he believes that we just haven't learned enough about quantum physics yet so he devised an experiment. Apparently, in 1982, they did the experiment and Einstein was wrong.
