For amateur bouts it pays nothing. To be a professional boxing judge requires 200 rounds as an amateur judge, then another 150 as an apprentice in pro fights. Could take a couple years. Once I'm a legit judge, I get paid anywhere between $40-200 to watch boxing and score it, which I currently do for free. I would be able to go anywhere in the country and do it too. If I become "respected" enough and become affiliated with some sanctioning bodies, I can get free trips/international assignments to score fights. Refs get paid more, of course. Then again, 20/20 vision is probably a requirement.
Getting settled may take a little while, but once we do, of course. If I can get a job by the end of this month that would be stupendous. I'd be able to blow my cash on shit I need like a sofa and a flat screen and a nice bed.
