ROME ART POST

About time for this too huh?

-I really love helmets, I always have. Going to Rome only made me a bigger fan of them. I did this on-site painting sketch for the sole purpose of this guys helmet. mmm~ (watercolor)

*overloads on awesome art* I have to say, I ADORE Roman and Greek sculptures simply because of the beautiful anatomy and I'm so glad to see that someone else shares my love. The quick drawings of all the statues are just breathtaking and so there, it's like I can just touch them. And I commend you for using watercolor on your works, I'm always terrified of watercolor because it's so hard to control and I'm just anal like that. X_x; But still! WOW! Your art is always so gorgeous! :3

Ahh yeah Roman sculpture is the best huh? I just love how they severely exaggerate the folds in drapery and then have this bold musculature emerge out from the soft detailed sheets. mmm

and thank you! Glad you like my work. Yeah I had to use watercolor because I didn't have computer access or oil-paints while in Rome.
