So I went to Tandy Leather not to long ago and tried to calculate how much it would be to Re-make my Zora Armor out of leather. The store-clerk helped me as well. I also checked to see if they even had the colors I needed. They didn't have the blue in-stock but they had a swatch of the right color in their swatch-samples on the check-out counter. $200 dollars... @_@ Ouch. But you could always do it if you want to keep that cosplay forever. XD; Your choice! (I've paid more for some supplies, though I won't mention what. ._.)

Also, Sword of the Stranger totally killed my computer. I downloaded the BlueRay version (not a good idea) and my computer barely had enough memory to run it. I agree, the fight scenes are AMAZING. Bones is always so nitpicky about getting the fight scenes right~ <3

Yeah with all the multi-layering that armor has, I can see $200 as being a good place to start from. It's a lot yes but leather would look so incredibly awesome though!

If I were making this, I'd so love to do it out of leather but I can't for various reasons at the moment. If you do decide to choose this route though, I'm sure it'll be absolutely-fricken-tastic!

Wow..for the leather, would they do quanity discount by chance? If they would, maybe you could get a bunch of us to go in! I'd wanted to make my Final Fantasy XI character's costume out of leather...I'd need brown and black though. :-/

Can't wait to see the Coraline movie myself since I loved the book to death..the book was sooooo creepy. O_o

Holy Moses, three hides worth of leather? I never would've imagined that one costume eating up so much material. Hmm. that's a tough call to make.

Oh man, "disappointed with it"?! How can that BE! Your Zora Link is amazing... but we are our finest critics, haha. Yeah, leather hides are crazy expensive... X[ well, hmmm... perhaps if you can land yourself a job and just put a little bit of your paycheck off to the side for a period of time, you could earn your way there and it won't monetarily kill you all at once, lol.
