daphne does not get enough credit...she's very smart:

"Daphne has been pretty sure since about the age of thirteen that men are the stupidest creatures on earth and it shows in her voice: “I don’t know, you freak, maybe you missed the part where he told you repeatedly that he loved you, and um, repeatedly asked you to marry him, oh yeah, and bought you a mansion when you refused to. It’s understandable that you overlooked all that.”

not only can she put things in a concise package, she can come up with a plan instantly:

“Stalk him.”

"It’s always worked really well in the past. Why mess with a tried and true method? Call me tomorrow and we’ll work out the details.”
