1. I picked the most recent book up and starting reading late this evening. I just finished it as I type this.

I read the first book (and part of the second) on the plane and I thought that this is how a Mage game should be--dark and dangerous. One thing I disliked about the series so far is that the second book starts off quite similar to how the first book started, i.e. the character starts off without have a job for several months.
