That poem is amazing. I know you've probably said this in one of your previous posts, but what sect does you temple belong to? I live not too far from Koyasan, and am hoping to make a trip out there soon. Kudos to you.
WMJ is a Theravadin temple of the Mahanikai sect (the larger of the two major Buddhist sects in Thailand). The abbot, Ajahn Anan, was a student of Ajahn Chah.
Koyasan is really amazing, according to a friend of mine who had the chance to visit. So, I'd recommend it. Let me know what you think of the place, if you do.
Hi! I miss you! And I have moved to Washington, DC. I will write to you with the return address. I want to hear more about stuff in Thailand. :-) *hug*
It seems like a lot of my friends are moving from Pittsburgh to the DC area for some reason - which is good, as that's where my parents live, and hence where I'm likely to be when I'm visiting the States in the future.
